I am a stand-up comedian and a bartender who specialises in cocktails (it's not as pretentious as it sounds). This podcast is an array of different things. Usually I'll teach you how to do a cocktail - the right way - then I'll sit down with a friend and discuss what is happening in their little dimension they call home. It could be about religion, business ventures, sadness, happiness, the comedy industry, the bar world or we just sit and chew the fat about life itself. Sometimes, in my Dimming The Light episodes, it is simply me and my mind talking to a you and a microphone about mental health and the general mishaps and adventures of the week past. As it is mental health awareness week the mental health podcast Dimming The Light seems even more relevant than ever. It is also Episode number 10 - so we are celebrating our 10th anniversary.
In this episode I remind you to ask people how they are, and to be careful to what you ingest in your first hour of waking up. I discuss why its not always easy to live 'in the moment', and, is your mental state a tidal ocean or a stagnant rancid pond?
